Processed with VSCO with a6 presetBefore you scroll down for further details, I’ll tell a little  story of how my mom, sister, cousin and I really ended up going here instead of Pampangga, Subic nor Zambales. We left Manila late afternoon, and intentionally what was planned was we are just going to spend a night in Subic and head to Clark in the morning. But once we got to Subic, we didn’t expect it to be so crowded and the beach was disappointing. Went to different hotels and resorts but still we were not satisfied because we didn’t feel  the essence of relaxation and peace. So using the app Maps I told my mom how close we are already to Zambales and I told her I  know certain place perfect for surfing. Out of luck it started to rain hard and when we got to the place where we’re supposed to stay it was already closed. 🙁  We were running out of choices when suddenly my mom suggested that we should really go for Bolinao, Pangasinan. That’s when the real spontaneous adventure really happened. And with the help of the locals we were able to create the perfect 2 day itinerary. 🙂

Day 1

8:00 am: We arrived safely to Bolinao, Pangasinan thanks to Maps. But if you’re planning to go there by commute you can get yourself the earliest bus (from Pasay or Cubao). We head to Bolinao Falls 1 (50php entrance fee) which is 15 minutes from the town proper.DCIM101GOPROGOPR3820. Processed with VSCO with a6 presetBefore you’re able to jump the 2oft waterfalls, you’ll have to jump first from what the locals call it the “beginner’s area”. Then from there you can finally conquer the 2oft cliff dive! 🙂DCIM101GOPROGOPR3859. Processed with VSCO with a6 presetDCIM101GOPROGOPR3879. Head to Bolinao Falls 2 (mini cliff diving and 50php entrance fee) and Enchanted Cave (150php entrance fee). Plus, these places are just near to each other, you don’t have to hurry going from one place to another. 😉DCIM101GOPROGOPR3839. Processed with VSCO with a6 presetIMG_23184:00 pm: Our last stop was the Cape Bolinao Lighthouse. It was built by the Americans during the 1900’s and it stands 351 feet high. And up until now the lighthouse still sends signals to vessels passing by the area. There was no entrance fee, so don’t forget to take pictures! I swear you’ll definitely love place as much as I did 🙂Processed with VSCO with a6 presetIMG_9368IMG_93695:30 pm: Head to Patar White beach and check in your resort. End the day just by walking along the beach to catch the sunset. 🙂Processed with VSCO with a6 presetIMG_2326 (1)Processed with VSCO with a6 presetDay 2

7:00 am: Start your day by walking along Patar White Beach again! And since it was a low tide, you can walk along the waters as far as you can but be mindful of the waves.Processed with VSCO with a6 presetDCIM101GOPROGOPR3949. Some of the islands to visit are: Governor’s Island (long zipline and viewing deck), Marcos Island (cliff jumping), Quezon Island (giant clams), and Children’s Island (short zipline)!Processed with VSCO with a6 presetIMG_2345.jpgDCIM101GOPROGOPR4205.
